My background in Construction Administration includes corporation yard, office building, restaurant, law-enforcement rifle range, maintenance facility and mixed-use podium apartment buildings totaling valuation over 50 million dollars of construction.

Damage and defect work includes numerous observation surveys of construction damage following the Northridge earthquakes and expert observation and reporting of construction defects for insurance purposes.

CURRENTLY AND IN RECENT YEARS, SECURITY AGAINST ATTACKS ON INNOCENT PEOPLE AND FACILITIES HAS BEEN ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT ISSUES WE FACE.    WE HAVE EXPERIENCE DESIGNING REMODELS OF GOVERNMENT FACILITIES TO CONTROL ACCESS and HARDEN POTENTIAL TARGETS.    See the Institutional/Security section for examples.

Whether in my role as National Design Architect at Taco Bell or as an independent designer and architect for over fifty restaurants, food service facilities and tenant improvements in Southern California, I have added value and helped operators, open, improve and resolve problems, from the floor sinks, to the equipment and seating layouts, menu graphics, material finishes, exhaust systems and everything in between.
